The intended appearance needs to include the whole year, not just the flowering period. Discuss that expectation with the project team before selecting the planting system.
Use resources carefully
The approach aims to reduce reliance on irrigation and maintenance where the system and site conditions allow. The needs of the particular roof still have to be defined; the label “native vegetation” does not determine them by itself.
